SDRAM and DDR

Whats the difference between SDRAM and DDR? I’ve never really found out lol =)

The basic difference is that DDR is more efficient as well as being more faster then SDRAM when it comes to data processing. It is why more users have ddr ram on their computer then sdram. On another note, there is also RDRam which is faster than ddr. It has a high speed bus of which processes 800million samples/a sec. Its expensive but when it comes to speed, it depends also on your system acrhitecture.

I think I have 2 dimms of DDR right now, could I replace them with 2 dimms of RDram?

Cool. Now I just need to get an iPod mini… (not iPod, too much space, too much money :P)
