Second monitor above the primary mon

Im going to buy a new monitor (viewsonic 19" realflat…something…CRT). I have corner table and there’s a problem with positioning this second mon next to 959 NF. well, see the picture. There’s no space next to but there is space above if I move Epson to other table. Ok, My Q is: Is there any programs or someway that I could move mouse cursor in vertical way from monitor to other, c pic?

Thanks already

Yeah, once you got the second monitor working, you can adjust it in your Display Properties, it’s definitely possible if you have an nVidia card.

I have Radeon 9700 Pro…

ati’s hydravision is designed for such tasks, as far as i know

here’s a link for radeon family cards (like yours) for the xp version: http://www.ati.com/products/hydravision/index.html?type=xp&prodType=hydra&prod=hydravisionXPdriver&submit.x=4&submit.y=7

btw: ati’s the best, i’m using a radeon 9700 pro too

Hmm… I know my setup doesnt support monitor on top… just side by side. I wonder what it would be like to work like that though. I can’t imagine whether it’d be a good thing or bad heh.

I use UltraMon for dual displays. Hydravision rocks but I seem to prefer UltraMon. It doesnt matter what brand card you have as long as it supports dual monitors. You can put your second monitor anywhere you want and just use the windows display settings. Just postion the monitor icons on screen in the display properties as you have them on your work area and your mouse jumps back and forth or up and down between the two. Some drivers and cards have issues with different resolutions though.
