Seeking Videogame Design Education

Hello, I was told I can come here for advice in persueing a videogame design career, if this is the wrong place to do this, I apologize in advance. I’ve graduated my community college with an Associates in Applied Science in Computer Animation, so I have some experiance with things like Illustrator, Photoshop, Softimage XSI, and various other video editing programs. In addition, I’ve taken several programming classes, including Object Orientated programming and some math classes to help give me a stepping stone when I try to get a Bachelors in Videogame Design / Development. I am planning on attending Full Sail, but I’m hearing stories that this may not be a good place to go, since their teaching ethics seem… rushed. So I’m asking if anyone here can point me in the right direction, so I can be successful and land a job in the gaming industry, my thanks in advance. On a final note, I’ve been using Python programming and reading and doing tutorials with that program.
