Sequentially loading multiple swfs onto movieclip placeholders

Hi im relatively new to actionscripting, i just wanted to know if anyone knew where to look or how to go about creating a sequential preloader which loads 1 swf at a time onto place holders on a stage? so basically it would be a 3 x 3 grid of movie clip place holders which would load swfs onto each place holder. So the swfs would load direcltly after each other?
