because im getting out of the basics, i am finding my self more and more drawen to server side applications. but one has pissed me off big time

thats the tutorial im doing. now i want to upload it to the net, but i have no freaking idea how to. its frustrating me.
phpmyadmin, is supposedly easy to use, and it is i suppose.i uploaded a file fine, and it then displayed my mysql file fine. but the where is it??? where does it go, how the hell do i connect them?
im on a mac, i have osx, i have dreamweaver.
please for the love of god someone help me. im in serious trouble. i need to grasp the whole concept, i need freaking help.
