I am in the process of creating a large list for client/server-side scripting tutorial/forum/help sites. Very similar to what was done in the D&D forum for graphic application tutorials. I figured it would be a good idea because we are beginning to get a large number of scripting related questions and having a list of tutorials for people to browse would (I think) very helpful.
Any help or critiques of my idea would be appreciated. I am going to begin collecting these links soon and then I will probably post it sometimes next week.
Erm… I don’t use too many only stuffs for my Serverside/Scripting, I am mainly self taught with the References in DW. But I might be able to contribute a few good sites.
www.lissaexplains.com <-- real childish and girly looking, but it was created by a 13 year old girl. Amazingly enough it is THE BEST beginner HTML resource I have found when I was starting out. It was featured on CNN for being so good.
Very good idea,
do you want specific links to tutorials, or just site links?
I’m daily over @ www.phpforflash.com
got some links for php, xml, never used asp…
check (and “steal”) the link section on my site while it’s still html, easier to copy’n’paste…
I need to get more into Server-Side Flash. We are getting more questions on it and I can’t help people with that.
I just got into XML in Flash, it is something I have always wanted to do from the moment I found out you could. It is fun so far, but not many people ask about XML in Flash on this forum, more about PHP and ASP in Flash, but oh well.
its originally 69.99 and I bought it for 13.89 I don’t really intend on using it immediately but i bought it because it was so cheap and I will eventually use it.
Anyway, I’m just looking for sites that have tutorials. HTML, JAVASCRIPT, PHP, ASP etc etc… Not links to specific tutorials…
it will help me keep track, if you could. For the Text part, just let me know what it is (PHP, JS, ASP, etc…) and then just paste the link in. Or post here. Either way, I am adding it to my database to keep better track of them…
