Shared Objects get errased in Vista

Ive got a project that exports as an .exe-file, which uses the Local Storage to store Shared Objects.

It has always retained the Shared Objects before, both in xp and vista.

Now, however, a user is experiencing on his vista-computer that the Shared Objects in the Local Storage get deleted (or doesnt even get created in the first place) every time he starts it.

When checking the “Macromedia Flash Player Settings” -> “Local Storage”, the meter is always set to None (ie. all the way to the left), but the “Never Ask Again”-checkbox is NOT checked.

And the global settings are set to 100 kb, “Never Ask Again” is not checked, but the other two checkboxes are checked. Just as it should be.

My instinct tells me that he lacks write-permission to where the “Local Storage” is located on the harddrive. Could this be correct, or is there another solution? And where is the Local Storage located anyway?
