I am doing a flash site that involves using shared objects. I have used external swfs for each of the different parts of my site. However I can’t use information from shared objects in one external swf in another swf.
If there is a way of doing this, while using external swfs, I would be very thankful if you could poat it here please. Thanks.
I realise this maybe impossible, so I thought of doing the site all in one huge swf, which would solve the problem. However it would create another one - the file size. I use a preloader at the begining of my site, using getBytesTotal but I wouldn’t want it to load the whole site because that would take ages.
I was wondering if anybody knew how I could create my swf so it loads just the first frame of my site and then loads each seperate part of the site when it is needed.
I hope this makes sense and if anybody could tell me how to do these things, I would be very grateful.
