Shining effect in banner, need help!

Please suggest some tutorial sites that has almost the exact shining lines effect as found in the template monster site !

Looks like a masked Photoshop image. I don’t know about tutorial sites, but you’d basically make a glowy image in Photoshop, and then run it under a wavy slit. The rest is just an image in the background and stuff. And then when you tween it, go to Advanced, and set it to 255, 255, 255 to get that white glow effect.

I’m sure someone else can explain it better than me though. Hopefully I get some ideas going though :wink:

It is a masked image with an HDR burn implemented on the masked animation.
