Is it done in photo shop or can it be done in flash itself??? Answer me ASAP thanks!!!
HMmmm SORRY I FORGOT TO TELL U ALL THE PICTURE IS UNDER THE SECTION " SUPPORT"!!!
yea, you can do it in photoshop… its called scanlines. you can either do it by transposing an image of the lines over another image (the face) or i think theres a filter that does the same thing as well.
peace
hehe i am a noob and i really need the exact location on where to find the scan lines thingy. Sorry for the trouble thanks a lot…
run a search on google.com and you’ll find tons of tutorials…
however, you could do that in flash if you want to.
thanks dude
no problem.
To do scanlines in Photoshop, you can create a new image, say 10 px by 4. Draw a single line across the top of it, and make the rest transparent.
Go to Edit --> Define Pattern, and save this image with a relevant name. Now open up the image you want to apply the scanlines to, and make sure it’s in RGB Mode. Add a new layer on top, select the Fill tool, and make sure Pattern is selected in the drop down on the menu tab. Choose your new scanline pattern, and click on the layer.
You can then reduce the opacity of the layer to make the scanlines blend in more.
To do the same in Flash, just draw the lines into a symbol, and again adjust the alpha value.
or if your lazy like me, download this action for psd. Does the exact same thing Kit explained, but I am lazy and rather run a action.
