Simple shape tween

I want to know is there a simple way to do a shape tween that increases the size of the object. I tried to just drag the object bigger but I realized sometimes, if the pictures is too complex, it sometime doesn’t just increase in size, it morphs into the same object in some random way. I guess because it is taking the shortes possible route. Any suggestion? I know there is probably some zoom action script but is there anyway to do it with a tween? Thanks.
