Site Design Presentation

I’m curious as to how other’s present their web site designs to clients. At our shop we have templates with a browser window that we put our design in. Then we export jpg’s and usually do some sort of slideshow. My company used to print out designs and mount them but I have pushed hard against that since you will never experience the site in print. However occasionally we have to if we are meeting at the client’s place and we are unsure of having presentation equipment or connectivity.

So what do you think about presenting site designs? How should they be shown and in what contexts? I’ve often asked myself, “should I include a desktop for some context?”, “is the browser window really necessary?”

Here is a sample of how I present now.
