Skipping a flash intro

Hey kirupa folks!

OK I have made a flash intro for my website and its about 280k, so I want 56k users to be able to skip it and go onto the website, I’ve added my “Skip Intro” button and it works fine, I just need to know how to get the flash intro to stop loading when they click on it. Once they click Skip Intro I just want the intro window to close, and the website to appear in a new window. thx for any suggestions,

you could load the intro as an external swf, then just have the ‘skip intro’ button remove that level or target.

yea that would work, but there must be an easier way? somehow to do it all in 1 swf file? thx for the reply tho
