Hiya,
I found a great movie (http://www.istockphoto.com/file_closeup/object/5366940_skyscrapers_hd1080_ntsc_pal.php?id=5366940) which I would like to re-create in Flash 8 for a website.
Does anyone know if it is possible? I know how to create animated clouds etc, though how could I have animated clouds in particular areas (ie the windows) of a similar Skyscraper image?

It is all about masking. You need a movieclip with animated clouds and then strech and skew it to match the perspective and apply a masking. To get a better look you’ll probably need to adjust the alpha of the clouds so they are semitransparent. Repeat for each building 
Surely this was rendered in 3D? It would be much easier in 3D because you can set the reflection of the buildings to show the sky. I’m not sure it’s done using flash masking at all.
