I have created a slideshow that is for the homepage of a website. I play the show on a 13" macbook and on a 17" macbook Pro. The show looks alright on the smaller screen but flickering is visible on the 17" when the slides fades in/out of one another.
The show has all the images embedded in the .swf itself. I tried to increase the frame rate from 12 to 20 fps but not sure it is helping, the flickering is still there. The transitions is around 20 to 25 frames with the previous slide fading out and the next one fading in in this 20 overlapping frames. The original images are 600 px wide and is sized up to 800px in the output show.
Your idea and suggestions are much appreciated. Thanks!
