Hello…I wouldn’t be surprised if no one remembers me, but anyway, I’m facing yet another dilemma with my site.
The site in question is my 13th version. I have been through a lot to redesign it, perfect it, having to compromise for the sake of user-friendliness while maintaining a nice, clean look.

The dilemma is that for some reason, the playback is slow on the web when publishing it, whereas in Flash, it’s fine. The frame rate is 36 fps. It was originally less than that since a friend of mine pointed out that Flash Player for Macs have a bug that will play swf files between 12 and 30 fps at 12 fps. I tried bumping it up to 48 fps, and it’s faster on the web, but it’s not as smooth. I’ve even tried using and publishing other swf files from my friends to compare them. And, apparently, there’s a difference. And I can’t figure it out.
Oh, and any constructive criticism on the site is helpful. Again, this is version #13 and the site is not even up officially. If anyone wants a downloadable version of the site (.fla and .swf files), let me know. I used Flash MX.
