smart earrings are apparently a thing now, because apparently every bit of jewellery needs a sensor and an app these days.

I can barely keep bluetooth headphones paired, so the idea of debugging firmware on something the size of an earring sounds like pure chaos. and yeah, anything that small with a battery is going to be priced like “luxury” even before the app subscription shows up.
Pairing is annoying, but the part that makes my eye twitch is “tiny battery + always-on radio + skin contact” and whatever shortcuts happen when they’re trying to ship it as fashion. I want a very boring, very explicit answer on lost/stolen earrings and account resets, because that’s where people get burned fast.
