Ear buds dont fit ears

I just bought new mp3 player (yay!), and it came with ear buds… Maybe it’s just me, but EVERy pair of those dont fit my ears. I wear them for 5 minutes and my ears ache really badly. But then again, those ear buds are like the cheap big ones…

Would it be better if I got those head phones (small ones) around the neck (I wear my glasses though)? Or buy good pair of ear buds ( are they smaller?) ?

In my humble opinion, get earbuds of higher quality, the headphones are great if you are sitting in front of your computer, but are pain in the *** when you got to put them away, or trying to listen to your mp3 in stealth mode during the three hour presentations that your boss gets so excited about.

The buds that came with my .mp3 player kinda sucked too. I had the same problem with them hurting my ears. I dont like alctual headphones because they are bluky and I only use my .mp3 at the gym. I picked up a pair of buds with the guides that fit over your whole ears to hold then in place. They were like $15 and work awesome.

Hm… Fester, they go around the ear eh? I wear my glasses, would my ears be bulked with plastic? Gah…

I ahve an old pair of sennheiser earbuds, never had a problem with 'em… :slight_smile:

Same! They get really, really sore…

If you just keep wearing them you’ll get used to it. Take them out every once and a while, rub your ears, and put them back in. After a week or so your ears won’t hurt anymore.

If you can afford them, get in-ear buds!

Yes, they don’t hurt, and they sound better.

in-ear buds = ownage

I’ve used them on stage before at shows. They kill any other form of ear sound device. Even hotbox monitors suck compared to them. They are expensive, but ahmed is right. In-ear buds rock.

I got a pair of the Apple In-Ear Buds for my iPod and i LOVE them. $50 but well worth it IMO. You can get some that run up over a few hundred (like hte Sure IEB’s).

Deff worth the money if you are like me and never leave the house w/o it.
