I didn’t click the link, but the post itself just seemed wrong. Like the member is advertising something sneaky. Should I move it back? Or leave it?
Oh wait, I just checked other posts by him/her and found lots of them in Forbidden. Time to IP ban this sucker!!
^ should check the users other posts… and then move them all to a spam folder titled their username spam in forbidden… then spam ban the member from there. That way you get all their post in forbidden and ban the user all in one neat package

Anyone know how to do that? Usually I just check the one post then hit “Delete as Spam” and check the box to delete all posts/threads by user and ban them. Is that what .soulty means? Or is there some other super cool way to gather posts into a folder and spam ban? (My new favorite phrase, thanks :pleased: )
Should do the same thing. I think soulty may not have discovered the new Delete as Spam option yet 
^ no i do that when all the spam has been moved to forbidden via the /view member other post and then move all to new location. Why i do that is so it totally removes threads and posts to forbidden so we don’t have to see them soft deleted in post and it basically makes it neater for kirupa to ban ip the member when the user is in forbidden. Banning the member and leaving their post out in the ‘normal’ kirupa land will not say to kirupa ban ip this member. And in the end it’s just neater, more quicker (to me).
If you check the spam threads I have created in forbidden(simp is doing it as well) you will see what i mean.
:: what i do is basically this::
- view reported email: go to source
- check spammer other posts.
- tick box to select all spammers posts
- move all selected posts to forbidden / name to something like ‘membersname’ spam
- select first post of spam member (in new forbidden thread) then hit delete post as spam.
Even though it’s 5 steps these are very easy to do/not time consuming steps.
