hi there , i am new here 
i have started learning flash 2 months back , and have chosen action script 2.0 over 3.0 as i feel AS2 is easier than AS3 , So basically these days i am doing various experiments to improve my skills . two days back i tried to load xml string in a dynamic textfield and i succeeded , my dynamic text field is working very fine with external xml file with using built in scrollbar component BUT when i try to use anyother scrollbar with the same same dynamic textfield , it simply don’t work ,i have downloaded too many scrollbars from various flash resources websites , they are work fine with static textfield and cannot recognize the text present in dynamic textfield this is why they don’t show complete contents of a dynamic textfield unless if i extend or manually increase the height of textfield . which is i think is a wrong approach when you are going to present someone entirely a dynamic application.So kindly if someone know any flash resouce or tutorial teaching smooth scrolling for xml dynamic text field , i will really appreciate it .my requirement is just a fancy looking scroll bar with smooth scrolling or having option of customizing scrollbar’s colours etc…
Another question : today first time i came to knew that there are possibilities of loading external html files in flash , i would really appreciate if someone share a nice tutorial of it that how html as well as css file can be loaded into flash and is there possibilities of implementing the same kind of smooth scrolling bar in this approach too !?
