when you people turned 21 (for those who are 21 or older) did you feel like you had to be more mature or act older… or did you feel you had more responsibility?

well except for the part of getting old. The only thing I regret is growing up too fast. when I was a teen I wanted to be an adult and now that I’m an adult I want to be young again.
yeah 21 isnt THAT much of a big deal over here… since the legal drinking age is 18.

21 is only cool in the States, and even then nothing special since everyones got fake IDs or know a store that will sell to anyone 
The only cool thing about it is the tradition of going absolutly nutz on the night of your B-Day… that was awesome!
As far as responsibility, eh… if youre a responsible person youre a responsible person - period. I know 15 year olds that have a greater sense of responsibility than some of my 20-something friends and vis v…
and in my opinion if you ever “feel like you have to act older” then you are in a crappy situation!

I was always able to get booze before I turned 21 and there were bars that served me.
And am totaly with Ryall with the responsibility issue.

21 here is a big deal. 18’s the legal age unfortunately most kids start way before then. 13 for myself 
I was in Finland a few years ago and we were in a bar talking to some girls when one said it was her birthday. I asked what age she was and when she shrugged and said 21 we all cheered. She asked what was so special. We told her that your 21st birthday is a big thing in Scotland (not sure why, it just is…tradition) so it became our mission that she enjoyed that night.
That girl ended up so drunk I doubt she remembers much of the night. Met her a few days later though and she said she enjoyed herself. It was great, everyone was p****d and I ended up in a snow fight with 2 lumberjacks…what a night :thumb:

:lol: well they weren’t lumberjacks at that moment. They were in the bar with us drinking a few beers, in fact I think I remember one of them was the birthday girls boyfriend. Man I was gonna trying my luck with her too until I seen the size of this guy when he came in.
