Here’s what I’ve been listening to:
He Is Legend - I am Hollywood
- Money cd. Just try it. There is a little screaming, but it’s tolerable. The skill of the musicians is great.
Minus the Bear - they make beer commercials like this
- Great Disc. I wish they would release longer albums, but the ones they do release are masterful. Definitly showing their superiority over the other “retro rock” bands
Spymob - Sitting Around Keeping Score
- The back-up band for N.E.R.D., but not what you’d expect. They’re kind of a 70’s / Todd Rundren throw back, but with super clean vocals and production. VERY good.
The Cooper Temple Clause - kick up the fire and let the flames break loose
- Radiohead / Muse sounding band. **** good. You UK guys have probobly heard of them, but they’re unheard of here in the US.
Jimmy Eat World - Futures
- This CD blows their last one out of the water. They kinda switched from poppy major-chord vocals/guitars to really sweet minor-chord vocals and harmonizing guitars. Wonderful production too.
Converge - You Fail Me | AND | the dillinger escape plan - miss machine
- If you’re into technical hardcore music, these 2 cd’s are where it’s at.
311 - Every CD ever.
You owe it to yourself to get their CD’s. If you’re not a believer, get the 311 Day 2004 DVD. It was a 5 hour concert on March 11th, 2004. Do it.
