Version 2.0 of Sony’s PSP firmware has been released today. The update is exclusively for Japan, but is widely available for all regions and runs the same on all regions.
Currently I am running it. It’s a lot nicer, but the web browser is very, very slow. (Yes, slower than the Wipeout Pure browser) The mouse pointer on the browser is nice, it even has a shadow on it. However, I guess we’ll all be waiting for version 2.1… The version with the speed fix for the web browser.
EDIT: Nevermind, the browser is not very very slow, it’s more moderate, not necessarily fast. The fix to my problem was to turn off WLAN Power Saver
