I’ve created a project with one audio file and it is linked. At the root timeline, I am able to control the position of when and where the audio is to play - along with the nested buttons. [Basically being able to sync the audio with the images corectly.]
Problem 1:
On my development machine [DEV], everything works great. When I send the file to another machine [CLIENT 1] the audio file won’t play in the final swf. The [CLIENT 1] machine has the all of the latest Flash and Shockwave Plug-In Updates.
[When I say “send” I am refering to giving them a link to the server]
Problem 2:
When I send the file to another machine [CLIENT 2], exactly configured like [CLIENT 1] - the swf project starts to play with audio, but the animation stops playing midway.

Has anyone experienced this problem before? Is this a possible bug in the MX Plug-In or the code or the machine?
This is the latest “rebuild” [4 different versions were created with diferent scripting variations] of the project which leads me to believe that this could be bug problem with MX… or isn’t it?
Well, I’ve tested in both through the Flash player and through the server. It works super on my development machine… which is W2K. Not sure if this could be a problem or not…
So I’ve been racking my brain trying to figure out this problem for the last 3 months…
I am using a Preloader and since MX is notorious for downloading the entire sound file prior to loading the “Pre-Loader” - you’ll notice the blank screen for the first few minutes. I know there is a work out, but that’s not a priority at the moment.
Here is the link to the project… it’s about 15MB. Hopefully, you’re running at least with a Cable or DSL connection.
I’ve got cable so i was able to check out the site,
very informative , lol, but i couldnt stay the length of the presentation, though what i did hear worked fine, dnt see any problem with it.
Thanks for the help. But unfortunately, “Burden Pool” wasn’t suppose tp be the end… :hair:
What gets me confused is to why on certain other machines, the animation stops at different points [sections] of the timeline while it runs fine on my machine.
Any ideas?
In the meantime, I will see to strip down the source file and post it for a better analyzed look.
