Hey gang,
I have been accustomed to using or playing and stopping my sound in flash with actions in frames. I have started applying sound to actionscript and started with the tutorial that kirupa has at http://www.kirupa.com/developer/actionscript/sound.asp . I have a problem though that concerns me. If you click on the button after starting the sound. The button will launch another playback which will garble and mix the sound up with repeats playing over itself. What’s a good way to stop this using actionscript? Like I said, I could go back to my old way using frame actions but would like to learn the “pro” way 
Thanks for any help. And thanks for the tutorial. By the way, I am using Flash mx, and the tutorial although was made for 5.0, It works great other than my question.
