In the UK you get points on your driver’s licence if you do somthing wrong (speeding, knocking over an elderly woman etc).
Basically it’s 3 points for speeding, and if you get 12 points on your licence you get banned. I have 3 already and just got another speeding ticket to bring it up to 6.
BUT I got a letter saying that if I take a 4 hour speed awareness course (what a load of crap) then I don’t have to pay the fine and I don’t get the 3 points.
