I am new to Flash and really don’t know the terminology to search through the forum. I have converted a mpg to flv and have imported and is in layer 1 frame 1. Right now when I publish the movie it works great but on the website there is just black. What I would like to do is add an graphic before the movie actually starts and have a transparent play button. When you click play it would disappear and when the movie ends it comes back. I guess my closest example is how they do it on YouTube.
I added a second layer and imported a graphic but when I test the movie it loops continously and bounces from frame one to frame back and forth between frames. Is there a setting that needs to be turned off or is there a better way to do this?
