Hi - I’ve just imported a complex Illustrator file into Flash, with .ai layers to .swf frames, then basically copy & pasted the grouped objects to respective layers. However, now in trying to test the movie, I’m getting a strange error message that I’ve never seen and is making me nervous. It reads “Cannot complete operation because there is not enough stack space” – HELP!! Any idea if this is a matter of upping the amount of allocated memory or is it something much more than that?
The imported Illustrator file was 1mg. Thanks VERY much for any insight, help!
Have you tried exporting the ai file (from illustrator) as an swf? Then import into Flash it will keep layers. Also, be sure that you save it as version 8.0 or lower.
Thanks for the reply - why would it be necessary to save as a version 8? I’m working with Ill. CS -
because that is the latest version of ai that flash will accept(with out problems), at least with mx anyway
=)
copy that - I’ll try saving it in 8 - thanks for the help.
Good luck!
