This game has bitten me hard. At first I was super dissapointed with it because the fighting system is more turn-based an real time (like the commercials and screenshotes mislead you to believe)
Ive had it since tuesday and I have managed to dump 10 hours into it.
Its a non-linear story line that is like a “choose your own adventure” style book. In most conversations you have 3-6 options you can say to people.
You also can be good or bad. there are advantages to being on the darkside of the fource as well as the light.
Anyways if you have an xbox I would highly recomend.
yea my bro bought star wars galaxies off one of my buds for $10!!! yesterday and its sweet so far. im gonna play it all day. the only thing bad is that its $15 a month once free pass expires.

he’s talking about knights of the old republic, not galaxies. knights is an RPG.
Fester - I have heard great things about this game - IGN gave it 9.5, that’s a great score for sure.
I have also talked to a few people who played and said the exact same thing you did. They were pissed it was more rpg than real time fighting but once you get used to it - it’s supposed to be amazing. I also have heard that there are dark and light side points and based on the choices you make throughout the game (like you said, a choose your own adventure type deal) give you diffent choices later on and also different endings. That would be like never playing the same game twice!
I’m not a huge fan of RPG’s or turned based fighting but I think I will check it out. Myself, I am waiting on the the star wars game for the cube called rebell strike - I just downloaded some vids of it today and my god was I blow an away!
