Aww :frowning: hope he recovers soon.

I bet he has enough money to get one of the best doctors in the world…
he should be fine

wow, a company-wide email must have taken a long time to get to everybody… that’s alot of recipients

Hope he recovers well also  I hear that pancreatic cancer is not as dangerous as others. I heard on the news that he won’t have to go through chemotherapy or anything, so that’s good!

EDIT: See below post by unflux. Lucky for Steve Jobs that he has a rare form, that I guess now, is not as dangerous as the regular form.

pancreatic cancer is VERY dangerous. Although he has a “rare form” so maybe that’s why they say he has a good chance of surviving. My father-in-law died of pancreatic cancer. He never recovered from his initial surgery, 2years later he passed. Like any form of cancer, once it reaches the lymph system, that’s all she wrote.

It’s quite possible that this is what the press is referring to is where the cancer is on the pancreas, which makes it less likely to spread. However, I have to say that all the doctors I talked to about pancreatic cancer (4) have a less favorable outlook on survival unfortunately.

of course I wish steve jobs well, and hope he recovers. I wouldn’t wish cancer on anyone…personally I despise the disease.

hmm… perhaps I was wrong in my earlier post… I should now wish him luck

he might need it
and the mac world would really be like… nothing! without him

Hope he comes out ok, we need more creative guys like him in the industry.

It is a sad day for the world of Apple, indeed. This came as a shock to me as well as the rest of the Apple world as far as i know.

My prayers to he and his family, he will make it he is strong.

darn… with all those prayers to him, if god does exist that is, he will certainly live! no doubt about it :stuck_out_tongue:

:frowning: it’s scary though…
