Strange Startbar in Screenshot at MS

oh yeah thanks, you told me a long time ago, but I deleted the thread (why?) and couldn’t remember…

edit: darn… my computer doesn’t support it… I have a non-supported version of windows :frowning:

yall got nothing on my startbar!

After doing some extensive research I was able to come up with this:

I’m a wanna be mac user.

And I nearly expected to see a picture of you there Ethan. :stuck_out_tongue:

hey guys…I dont really think he asked for what your startmenu looked like
Anyway, that screenshot looks like a hybrid between the normal Windows XP default and Silver style (you can see this from comparing Thierro’s and t3h’s startbar)
from the looks of it, it’s not a packaged skin
Perhaps Microsoft customised it on their own?

Maybe that is me…

Nice theme Ethan!!

;(

Ethan- If that’s you, you stay away from my boyfriend you hear? :m:

Lol XP sucks anyways, linux and win2k all the way!

MS released a different, more glossy theme for the Media Center editions, so you could have that one. I think it is called Royale, but I’m not sure.

I agree! Go win2000! Too bad the idiots at Microsoft made it so onceyou upgrade your system, there is no turning back.

L337z0r! This thing is awesome!

Everything is so pretty and pre-longhornish!

Wow, they did a great job on the startbar buttons!

EDIT: Higher quality

lol - I used it for a day before I decided it was too shiny

EDIT: Why did you remove the screenshot? :P

Wow that does look a lot better! Although nothing beats my default Panther style! (on my mac that is…)

Not true  Just boot setup off of floppies.

I’m so googling that up.

im downloading it now

meeps, not THAT many hours left on my HIGHSPEED SUPER FAST DIALUP MODEM!

meeps. 3hours four minutes 2 seconds

Wow - that’s 40 MB in size! Doesn’t that mean that your regular Windows environment takes up at least an extra 40 MB of RAM because of the style/icon features?
