Today, I am announcing that the signup for the beta stage of swfBB has started. For those of you that dont know what swfBB is here is a description.
swfBB is a Bulletin Board community system developed using Macromedia Flash using PHP and MySQL. It has all the functionality that you would associate with a bulletin board and is on a par with the feature set available from most of the industry leading board solutions such as vBulletin and Invision Power Board. The difference is the front end of swfBB is run from the Flash Player.
I am looking for people to participate in a private beta test which will start from the 1st August 2005 which will involve access to a board running in a private area of www.swfbb.com To participate in the beta test all you need to do is compete the beta signup form at www.swfbb.com and you will be contacted prior to 1st August 2005 with the instructions that you will need to access the beta once it has been launched.
I appreciate any help that you can offer as the more people I can get involved with the beta testing the quicker potential bugs can be fixed and the quicker the board can be reduced to the mainstream.
