T-shirt Design

My printer offerred to run some t-shirts for me and I was wondering if this design would be okay for it. I’ve never printed anything on a t-shirt before so let me know what you guys think. =)

cool!

one thing though, with the text, its hard to read. :stuck_out_tongue:

i like it though

isn’t there a maximum color number for psrinting?

I know threadless has a max of 5 colors…

i donno but its hella coool!

yeah that shirt would be mad $$$

it looks good tho

most t-shirts I’ve printed were 3 color max, but using the t-shirt
color as the fourth. Cool graphic tho EG.

I like it a lot. The font doesn’t bother me, but if you’re using it to
advertise, you might want to choose something a little more
plain. Just a suggestion.

=)

I’D BUY IT!

Im sorry EG, but I don’t really like this that much.

Im not one for gradients to begin with so to me they seem overused here.

That font is hard to read, and the shading on it is a bit off.

The shading on the one orb on the face makes it stick out. And that gradient hexagon on the face sticks out as well. The thick stroke doesn’t really look right when some parts of the face have the thick stroke and some parts don’t.

I do like the shapes in the background though :beam: But you already know thats my favorite shape

Just my thoughts…

i agree with shane.

If you don’t have a color limit or anything like that I would recommend you use your blue mech thing… I absolutely loved that piece…

::just wanted a reason to show that off… i love it::

Yeah, the mech was insane.

Since that’s a bit… wild, EG, and not something I’d personally wear, I’d try to get in on a trend…like… I dunno.

Can’t help you, dude. That just doesn’t fit my personal tastes.

Hey thanks for the input everyone, I just wanted to get an idea as to what everyone thought before I decide to go on with the printing process.

As for the cost of printing the shirt, I have connections through a printing company I use to work for so the cost is paid by me giving them a percentage of the profits.

As for the gradient, on the actual shirt, there won’t be a gradient background, it will be solid colors like white, black, blue…etc

Lost: hahah I will see if I could come up with a design using the mech I made. =)

vectorize it!

You do not have to vectorize it to get it on a shirt. I have had a few of my designs printed on shirts you just have to make sure your printer has the capabilities. For silkscreening it has like a 5-10 color make but transfers on the other hand is the way you wanna go. I have had a real elaborate design with refraction placed on a shirt.

Now for the shirt it is a cool design but for some reason I do not see it as a good shirt design. A bit extreme. I can give you more info on printing if you like

I have to tell you that I don’t like it. It is kinda to kiddy style… sry… I don’t like that style. But your other stuff is better

agreed

we mean the gradients in the shapes.

i’d like to see something with the robot as well…

maybe on the front put electrongeek in an uber techy font…with that little neutron looking thing wrapped around it at the end…

then put the robot on the back
