well i am trying to develop Table tennis game , but the main problem i am facing is how to serve the ball so that it can be more realistic (i.e ball motion from my player to opponent with all those gravity effect).

what type of game is it? 3d?iso?side view?top view?
Also, two people play on the same machine or via network (and thus you see from your perspective)
view is ->iso
but if 3d can be implemented then i would like to know how to do that
It won’t be easy to do 3D though (at least for me it won’t)
i just want a basic to start with this game(view-iso) , so any suggestion…
I think you could quite easily fake 3d.
can you explain in more detalis , i really want to explore , help me out, and if possible can you provide me the logic of this game (simple logic of tenis game about the ball movement)
No I think you should try something yourself. You just have to think of 3 coordinates and scalling. IIRC I already explained something similar to this in an earlier topic some time ago.
