I think i figured it out i dunno, lemme know what you think / how it can be improved upon.
To make the function work, the textVar variable has to be the text you want to show up, and the path variable has to be the path to the textbox to hold the text, and the textbox to hold the text has to be inside a movieclip that doesn’t have any onEnterFrames going for it.
if that doesn’t make sense i understand it doesn’t make sense to me either
