I have a problem with using effects on text in Flash MX.
Now, please don’t laugh - When I use a fade effect on a symbol of a graphic it works perfectly, but when I use the fade on a text symbol it doesn’t work…the text just stays there.
The same happens when I use text as a mask. The mask doesn’t work and the underlying image is displayed - can you please tell me what I’m doing wrong?
