Hey all (it’s been a while),
I’m having trouble with text in Flash. Right now I’m working on a portfolio, more specifically the “About Me” page. I have two paragraphs of text written down, and for some reason this is causing lag (slow-downs) in Flash! So every time I try to fade in or fade out the text (or do anything else with it), the animation slows down and that is simply unacceptable.
Anybody else ever have this problem? Is there any way of removing or at least reducing the lag associated with large amounts of text?
