I tryed the dynamic text scroller tutorial(http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx/dynamic_scroller.htm), but I can;t get it to work. Thx text just keeps flashing. Thank you for any help.
Try putting a stop(); on your timeline. It sounds like it’s looping and reloading the text over and over.
I tired but it flashed once then stopped.(the text disappears after flash)
Then your stop(); is probably too early. When you stop the flash movie, for your text to still be there, you need the code from the timeline, the dynamic text box, and the scroller in the frame you are stopped at. If you are missing one (sounds like the actions that load the text) or you put in a different keyframe that doesn’t have the actions, your text will disappear.
If that doesn’t do it, post your fla and I will look at it a little later when I get to a computer with Flash on it.
