Well, here my friends is my dilemma.
Introduction:
Slowly but surely I am learning the inner means of PHP, MySQL, and advanced AS 2.0, but after four days straight of no food, no sleep, no friends, and countless trips to Barns & Noble trying to figure this out, I feel like I’m losing my mind!
Chapter 1: “My Actual Problem” (as you can see, I have been reading to many books)
I am trying to create a simple array using the dataGrid component, it simply gets information from grid.php and displays it in flash! (I am not using mySQL yet until I get the flash/php thing sorted out) basically I want it to be a type of ordering form, when they push “submit” it will e-mail me the list of items and amount that they want. I have done “contact forms” before with php, so I have some idea on what to do for the “e-mailing me data part” maybe? Also, I am having a hard time creating a “Grand Total” box that will add the totals of all the numbers from a column in the grid.
I have attached an example, and fla. (MX 2004) any help you can give will hopefully calm the constant dreams of drinking flash book lattes.
