Since detection of the appropriate Flash Plugin is something we all have to deal with, I’m assuming by now there must be some kind of difinitive answer to the best way to handle Flash detection.
Would the best way to go be to use the “DETECT FLASH VERSION” setting on the HTML page of the Publish Settings, (which adds a page full of javascript to your html as you publish)?
Or, use the swfobject?
What about the dreaded Internet Explorer 6 fix? What’s the best way to incorporate that little bugger in all this?
I know this is a topic that’s not much fun to discuss, but it’s pretty vital to ensure viewers can see the fruits of our hard labor, right?
