I’m sorry - I’m only new with Flash, but I’m trying hard to learn so I can make a more efficient site for my band. I’ve made a very basic image gallery on our site http://www.themodularband.com/4/index.html (under Photography). This was a temporary solution.
These are a few goals I’ve set for myself to improve the gallery:

[]Categories from either an inital menu page, or a nice drop-down menu or something (Concert Photos, Promotional Photographs, Miscellanious, Tour etc.)
[]Pre-loading for the images
[*]Pre-loading for the next image, whilst viewing the preceeding one.
[/list]For the last point - what I mean is, while you’re viewing, for example, Image 01 - the gallery will pre-load image 2, so by the time the viewer has looked at image 01, image 02 will have loaded. And so on for each image.
There is a great example of this on www.evermoreband.com (under photos).
Like I said however, I’m very new with Flash - i’ve been trying to keep up with the tutorials on this site, and it’s been great help. Thanks for any help!
