I will now realeve all my kirupaian life’s secret life. I have in fact been building a zombie game. Making little flash’s that are totally different to the
game when i ask for help. I had to get that off my chest. BUT its time to re-do this for the new team: Kirupain’s. To make the game: Kirupians
’ present Zombies. An online game where lots of people join and try to survive in the virtual world. A bit like runescape meets dead rising.

i am not a gaming nut. last console i bought was the gameboy advance (non sp). the only games i play are nintendo ones (love pokemon) and pc. i just play the same ones over and over (own less than a dozen games over both platforms). i sold my GBA ages ago (unfortunately just before the GBA pokemon games game out), and i have just exausted pokemon blue and gold.
due to reading about pokemon diamond/pearl on the DS and pokemon emerald on the GBA, i would like to get back into nintendo gaming for my pokemon needs. been admiring the DS Lite (it would go lovely with my white macbook). i’ve found that there is a web browser adaptor available in japan for the DS and i’ve read rumours of a memory card adaptor to allow the playing of media (mp3, mpeg etc).
as i have little knowledge on gaming, i pose 2 questions:
- when do ppl think the memory card adaptor will emerge in the west?
- as i am such an infrequent console player, would i be aswell to wait the 2-3 years for the next nintendo handheld (hopefully with internet browsing and media playing built in as standard. and of course a new pokemon game )?
after observing consoles over the years impartially i’ve noticed a pattern:
Nintendo/M$ releases console prematurely -> Sony releases console late which blows away competitors -> Nintendo/M$ release upgrades/refurbs
I’m glad i’m catching the 3rd phase in the DS’ lifespan
