Can some one give me an “overview” or the logic behind,
or maybe better the say " the reason to use" scenes?
I’ve been doing some flash things on and off for a few yrs.
but have never really understood how or why or when I would
use scenes, so I’m guess I’m just hoping for a general explination of the “why to use” and then maybe so “how to” attached to that.
On an other note:
Here’s something I did a year or so ago.
It was just an impulsive expiroment to see what would come up.
others feel free to add but here’s my view.
The reason you would use seens is to help your own personal organisation of your project,
eg. if you are making a cartoon or something that can be split into distinct segments then you might have each in a separate scene so you can quickly find the part you are looking for if you need to edit it or something. It will play the same whether they are split into scenes or just all in one scene, so makes no difference to the final animation the user will see.
If you are making a website then I would advise (and I think others would agree) that you don’t use scenes as they can be awkward where actionscript and sound and stuff are involved.
some people like to put their preloader in a separate scene, but in most cases that’s as far as it should go.
hope this helps.
