Woman Killed By 7-Foot Crucifix
In a small town in southern Italy, a 7-foot-tall metal crucifix fell on the head of Maddalena Camillo, killing her.
The crucifix fell from a monument while Camillo, 72, was walking in the main square in the village of Sant'Onofrio, which is around 370 miles south of Rome.
The crucifix was being restored for a religious celebration. Sant'Onofrio is located in the region of Calabria, which is the toe of the boot-shaped Italian peninsula.
