Thinking about opening a website design company

Me and my friend are thinking about setting up a website offering simple websites.

The factors points we decided were that we wanted the websites to be:

[]Simple
[]Stylish
[]Attractive
[]have simple flash elements[/LIST]We are pretty young (17) but we wanted a project to do over the summer, and decided this would be a good experience and also hopefully bring in some money. We have only just started talking about it, we havent even decided on a name yet, but does anyone have any advice to get us on our feet?

What is the best way to go about doing this?

Obviously we need to create a website for ourselves, buy bandwidth and smake examples and stuff, but whats the best way to go about advertising and such?

The way I’ve done it, but not very seriously is through networking. Start by doing your friends and family websites, maybe they don’t need them, maybe they do, but you can make a task out of it. It helps if they want/need a site then if its good word of mouth will hopefully get you a client or two more, friends of friends kind of thing. After you’ve got a few off the ground, then maybe start to promote yoursleves a bit, at least then you have experience with dealing with friends and their needs, so there would be less chance of getting your fingures burned with a real client.
