Hi all. So I’ve been doing Flash for some time now and I have a client that has asked me of something that I honestly don’t know can be done or not. They want one .swf file in an html page that when you click around in it, it goes to new html pages without loading the .swf over again.
I don’t mean the URL changes, I mean it actually goes into another page that ends in .html
I know you can change the URL and set flash so the ‘back’ or ‘forward’ browser buttons navigate through the flash file, but I’m talking about actual .html pages without reloading the .swf.
I can’t think of any ways to do this seamlessly without the page going blank for a second. Any theories or ideas? Can it be done? Tried googling but just come up with the aforementioned solution of changing the URL address. Can’t find anything on new .html pages.
Anything would be helpful!
Thanks,
Tom
