I have stumbled upon an issue, there are many other sources for this but I would like some advice from you guys.
I am making a calendar application that displays event summaries on the main page and opens in outlook when an item is clicked. Now I would like to add a little bit more functionality. I would like to be able to mouseover the items, I would like to view the description. I don’t have any issues with the backed but I would like to know if anyone has any guidance for the front end.
If you aren’t sure what i am talking about, it is the same feature that this forum uses for the mouse overs on the thread titles.

oh yeah… and i am using php/mysql with lots of css.
