toString, underscores, and Percent 5F!

Hello!

I’m trying to output a loadVars object to string, and it works just fine and dandy, except it goes a little something like this:

the variable is: start.ADDR_ORIGIN
the outputted variable name is: ADDR%5FORIGIN

The server-side script I’m sending the string to doesn’t like that one bit, and said it would phone my momma if I keep doing it… please advise!

Look up escape/unescape in the AS dictionary. And tell your script to behave! :stuck_out_tongue:

Flash has escape() and unescape()
chances are your serverside script has something similar if you need it there
