Transition effect help

Hei guys I found an effect that is like oil or like water slowly moving down the glass kind of thing, and after doing that another part of site appears, when the whole area is covered with it. I can’t remember where i saw that effect. It is like an transition but it can be used in many different ways. If you know what am I talking about please let me now! Thank you!
