Being the newb I am I figure I got a good grasp on flash as a program but still have not a lot of smarts come AS time. I really want to have an effect like this image transition in this

however Im at a loss as to where to start. Im assuming its a mask (correct me if Im wrong). I have four (maybe more eventually) images that I would like to just have a transition going from one to the next. I dont even care if the transition is different everytime. Once all images are shown I just want it to repeat (which is easy enough)
Ive read some stuff on the form but a lot of transitions I want are by clicking a button or menu item. Wondering if someone could point me in the right direction on how to achieve effects like this or if anyone has an fla I can study.
